Omnicom Media agencies have received 53 shortlists at the 2026 Festival of Media Cause Campaign Awards – more than any other media group. OMD agencies led the pack with 21 nominations, followed by Initiative with 18, PHD with 11, UM with two, and Hearts United with one.
The shortlisted work came from 16 markets around the world, including Malaysia (5), Peru (5), the UAE (5), Brazil (4), Costa Rica (4), Lebanon (4), New Zealand (4), Spain (4), the UK (4), Canada (3), Colombia (3), Germany (2), Sweden (2), Taiwan (2), Australia (1), and the USA (1).
A special mention goes to the OMD Peru team, whose “SOS POS” campaign for Banco de Crédito del Perú received five shortlists, making it the most-shortlisted campaign across the Festival of Media Cause Campaign Awards. The campaign turned everyday POS terminals into emergency banking lifelines, helping Peruvians shut down stolen phones and protect their accounts in seconds. The nominations come just a week after the work won Campaign of the Year at the 2026 M&M Global Awards.
The Festival of Media Cause Awards encourages the industry to incorporate cause or purpose into their media strategies, showcase how media can be a force for good, and highlight and amplify the work currently being produced in this space.
This strong showing across Omnicom Media’s global network underscores our commitment to fostering media innovation to drive meaningful impact for our clients’ businesses.
